How to check account verification status?

As MEX Digital is a regulated entity, all clients are required to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) check, otherwise known as Identity Verification, in order to trade on our platform.

In order to check your KYC status, Please login here and navigate to the "Identity Verification" page located in the sidebar.

Stated below are the various statuses of KYC verification; your account will fall under one of these:

Verified for Crypto-only (Spot & Futures)
Your provided identity document has been accepted but your proof of address document has either been rejected or is pending manual verification (manual verification can take upto 1-2 working days). If manual proccessing fails, a customer support agent will be in touch to assist you further.

Verified for Crypto and Fiat (Spot & Futures)
Your account is fully verified, congratulations!

Verified for Crypto-only (Spot Only)
The submitted identity document has been accepted, but your proof of address document has been rejected. Your account can only trade crypto on Spot. To be able to trade FIAT on Spot, please send a valid proof of address document to customer support

Some regions do not permit futures, see here.

Verified for Crypto and Fiat (Spot Only)
Your account is authorized to trade crypto and fiat, on spot. Some regions do not allow futures see here.

Unsuccessful verification
The automated compliance check on your submitted documents has been rejected. It has now been escalated to our compliance team for a manual review of the documents. One of your representatives will be in contact with you shortly, to assist.

Note:

  • MEX Digital does not offer our services to nationals of the USA, UAE, and OFAC Sanctioned countries.
  • MEX Digital does not offer our leveraged products to clients residing in the UK and Australia.
  • MEX Digital does not offer our services to applicants residing in the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, and OFAC Sanctioned countries.
  • However, if residence country of applicant differs, they can proceed with KYC using an identity document from that country given they satisfy the above conditions.
